I just can't believe that it costs the same amount of money to go from Helsinki to Rovaniemi by train and by plane! Does not compute.
I guess it means that in Finland either train trips are too expensive or that flights are just cheap. lol

I really can´t understand it either.
Both Helsinki and Rovaniemi both lots of people coming and going by plane, that must be the reason why they can afford keeping the price so low. In smaller places, like my hometown, it costs over 300 euros to fly to Helsinki! And it´s even closer than Rovaniemi is. It´s just sick. There isn´t just that much traffic, than in the bigger cities.

Actually, did you mean over 300 one way or two way? Because the two way trip from Bucharest to Helsinki is almost 300. But I guess it's a bit more acceptable because it's an international flight. Or at least that's the way I see things. And the distance is larger, too, than between Helsinki and Rovaniemi.
